This life

Not much happened this week to be honest. Yesterday, Pete and I went to give blood, which was probably the highlight of my week so far, aside from the fact that I can't stand having needles stuck in my arm.

I've been absolutely knackered for the past couple of days. So far, the blame for my tiredness has lain with the darkness. Half three in the afternoon it gets dark here and it's going to get darker still for the next 21 days. The reality is that BBC 2's mad scheduling of "This Life" has totally messed up my sleep. Don't the bods at the BBC realise that we happy few "This Life" fanatics from the first time round are getting to the end of our twenties and need our beauty sleep more than ever? This is one Christmas special I am looking forward to.

A This Life special isn't the only thing to look forward to this Christmas: Robin and Lily are getting hitched just before Christmas. Congratulations guys!
