Too many school dinners?

Jamie Oliver has won the Channel 4 political awards 2006 beating off all runners in the field and taking a solid 40% of the vote! Second was Shami Chakrabarti, third and fourth were Gorgeous George and Saint Bob in approximately that order, trailing in at the back of the field were Blair and Cameron.
Good on Oliver on Chakrabarti, I presume Gorgeous George was just on the list to boost ratings after BB and thank God Saint Bob didn't get his ego inflated anymore (though after his claims that Live8 saved the world he'll probably be claiming this as a victory too.)
One citation for Saint Bob stated: "He holds no political office, but is a politician in the true sense of the word." Yes, he makes money on the back of other peoples suffering. (Saint Bobs' media interests of which he has a number made a healthy profit on the back of documentaries of Saint Bob going walk about in the great African bush.) I am a firm supporter of trade not aid, but Bob it's trade with the country.
And Jamie Oliver, well I've nothing bad to say about him. The guy's a legend. Now if some of our sports stars would just make a similar effort to him.
Last weekend Robin, Lily, Sam and Finnish Tuom and me went up walking in the Cairngorms (Derry Cairngorm) and boy did I feel that for the next couple of days. It was well worth it though with some fantastic climbing on snow and the occasional break in the cloud giving uninterrupted views up the valley.

On the way up Derry Cairngorm

Tom and Sam (almost at the Top)

Derry Cairngorm is in the cloud on the right.

From left to right: Robin, Lily, Tuom and Sam. Almost back at the car.
