Greenpeace report poll fixing by govt

Greenpeace UK are reporting an attempt by GB and chums to fix the governments second public consultation on nuclear energy (http://www.greenpeace.org.uk/blog/nuclear/breaking-news-another-nuclear-consultation-was-fixed-20081016). Gordon Brown's favourite opinion pollsters "Opinion Leader" have been toting loaded questions to an unsuspecting public.

Having found themselves caught with their pants down the "Experts in influence, deliberative engagement, dialogue and insight" have chosen to go on the attack issuing a statement (available on their website here) accusing the Market Research Society of incompetence. Handbags at dawn methinks.

Let's face it pollsters (however they may call themselves) are a blight on political society, 42 day detention's too good for them. And for the politicians that employ them.
