Audio difficulties

US television anchor women briefs the nation

What is a girl to do? You're a busy US television anchor women taking a quick break while El Pres briefs the nation. Meanwhile your viewing public, instead of hearing the wise leader's latest thoughts on this or that, are privy to a discussion of a more personal nature - perhaps the overbearing nature of your sister in law. That's exactly what happened to CNN anchor Kyra Phillips who forgot to turn her mike of during an address by Bush last week. Viewers of CNN's breakfast news were treated to a glimpse of Phillips family life such as "My husband is handsome and he is genuinely a loving, you know, no ego - well, we all have egos - you know what I'm saying [honestly no]. Just a passionate, compassionate, great, great human being."

While her husband will be delighted, her sister in law will be less so. Talking of her brother Ms P. goes on: "He's married, three kids but his wife is just a control freak".

CNN described the incident as "audio difficulties".
